Uncle Jim always blessed our Holiday meals, and taught me so much about patience. For as long as I could remember, I always wanted him to perform my ceremony when I got married. Well...the time has come. Watch him do his magic, and warm up the church with his special words.

Reverend Duncan Johnston

Fr. Duncan became St Paul’s eleventh Rector in 2017. He was ordained in the Church of England in 1993 and spent the first ten years of his ministry in the UK. He served as a parish priest in Central England, before becoming the Diocesan Officer for Evangelism in the Diocese of Peterborough, where he was responsible for training and leading in church growth for 350 parishes. His final calling before relocating to the US was in the Northeast of England, where he as the Diocesan Missioner in the Diocese of Durham, he resourced 250 parishes in outreach to their local communities.

Angelo was born in 2018 and is the son of Nick Javas (Best Man). He is a handsome little guy, and is excited to make his wedding debut, guarding the rings as if they were a cherished toy of his. Angelo has brought great joy to our lives! His facial expressions are sure to be crowd pleasing, and his personality will shine. Angelo was named Angelo Dominick Javas, after Dominick Bono. He will be carrying on Dom's spirit down the aisle!

Lucas Shahid is a avid golfer, and is excited to make his wedding appearance in Westfield. He is the son of Christina, and Jaffer (Bridesmaid & Groomsman) and Brother of Ava, (Flower Girl). Always up for a challenge, Lucas will be guarding the rings along with his cousin Angelo Javas. This combination is sure to be crowd pleasing!

Anna is my amazing God Daughter who is bright , smart , loving and funny. We are excited to see her walk down the aisle, and be a part of our special day! Expect nothing but cuteness from this little beauty!

Ava Shahid is daughter of Christina and Jaffer (Bridesmaid & Groomsman) and Sister to Lucas (Ring Bearer). Ava could not be more excited! Nick and I have been raised as brothers ever since Nick was born in 1981. Our families lived together in a 2 family home on Perry Avenue, in Union, NJ. We are carrying on the tradition of friendship following our Mothers who have been best friends since the 7th grade. We have shared countless memories together, and have faced many of life's challenges. Some of the funniest moments of my life have been with Nick...and everyone will see why when he gets into action on June 12th!

Erich and I met back in 2015 after Jenna and I were dating, and decided to take the next step in our relationship. That 30 second walk to meet him was the most precious moment in my life. Without saying one word, I instantly loved him, and felt responsible to be his role model. We took to each other right away, and our relationship grows stronger everyday. He knows he can depend on me now, and forever. Right before I proposed to Jenna I asked Erich for his permission. I can remember him saying to me "Yes! I have been waiting for this!" I am so happy to have him be a part of our wedding. He is a funny, sweet, and caring young man who is a pro with a light saber. Keep a look out for this kid to light up the dance floor once he is on it .

Frank "The Tank" Nora

Frank "The Tank" has been like a brother to me since I was born. Our Mothers have shared a friendship since they were teenagers. We always shared a strong bond, and have been fans of The 3 Stooges since we were children. I can remember the first time I took Frank to the Knights of Columbus for Sunday football. We had a blast! That was the first time since he was a child that he went to bed at 4pm. I am very excited to have Frank part of our special day. He is loving, funny, kind, and polite. He is going to make an awesome groomsman!

Jaffer Shahid

Jaffer and I have known each other since we were kids, and grew up in the same neighborhood. We became close after high school, and our relationship grew from there. Jaffer married Christina Shahid (Sister of Nick Javas) which instantly made us family. We have shared some great memories out partying, down the shore on vacation, and on the golf course. Jaffer will definitely be one of the highlights of the party. After a few scotches....his dance moves will come to light.

Peter Kyriakoulis

Peter "Cock-O-Lock-Us" and I met under a tree in on the playground in Pre-K, where we requested one another's hand in friendship. We became inseparable. Our teachers would not allow us to be in the same class all through elementary school so that we would branch out to make new friends. The best memories of us were in our teenage years. Peter is a courageous, kind, and funny person. He led troops during 2 tours in Iraq. He will be sure to keep the groomsmen in line, and on time, in cadence. His break-dancing skills are second to none. We expect quite a show!

Paul Santangelo

Paul is one of my oldest and dearest friends. We have known each other since grammar school, and most recently became neighbors. We have made so many memories over the years, and have been there for each other through thick and thin. It is an honor to have Paul as part of my wedding party. He doesn't party all that frequently, but High School Paul is sure to make an appearance on June 12th!

Jason Krok

Jay and I became close friends towards the end of High School, and our friendship has grown ever since. We have shared some great moments in our lives together. The most special was being there when his Son Xavier was born. We played softball and volleyball together, and have partied till sunrise. You can expect to see Jay smiling, dancing and lighting up the room on the 12th day of June, assuming “Jay Delay” shows up on time!

Tony and I go back since Kindergarten. We have grown up together and have been a part of each others lives all throughout. As we got older, we became closer, and spent most of our 20's together making many memories....plenty of which we do not remember. I have the honor of being Godfather to Tony's daughter Gianna. Tony will start the night out pacing himself...but once he gets up to speed...watch out dance floor!!

Murdoch Walker, III

Cory is one of my oldest and closest friends. We grew up around the corner from each other, and then ultimately across the street. We have been tight since we were kids, riding bikes, playing pick up games, and terrorizing the neighborhood, and our bond has grown stronger through years of degradation towards each other. I once forced Cory to ride my bike, and he got hit by a car moments later. That explains a part of the show you will see him put on in June!

Konrad Roslonek

The man that goes by one name...Konrad. We met back in our neighborhood when we were teens, and became close through High School and beyond. If you're lucky...you get to meet one person like him in your life. A true friend in every sense of the word. He is sure to be a lively addition to the bridal party. Be on the lookout right after the cocktail hour...the games will begin, if they do not do so earlier. If he starts to dance...best bet is to just let him finish.

Carly is my younger cousin, and we have stayed constant in each others lives our entire life. We have had so many great and fun times, and have been by each others side for the most difficult of times. She is one of the strongest women I know that can handle anything and we share a bond that is very strong as well. I'm honored for her standing by my side on this special day, She is sure to be a Rockstar performer!

Deana is my older sister. She has been an incredible Aunt to my son Erich. Her loving and caring ways have carried me through some of the toughest challenges in my life. Sibling rivalry may always continue, but no matter what, I can always count on my sister to be there for me. Deana's newest taste for Martini's has earned her the name Dini Tini🍸 You can expect to see her dancing the night away, smiling and laughing!

Susan in my cousin, and we have remained close our entire lives. I could not imagine my wedding without her being a part of it, I have laughed until I cried with her since we were little and continue that same laughter still. I am very excited to have her part of the day. Look out for this party hopper on the dance floor in June....she is sure to be fueled up with Tito's unleaded.

Nicole and I have known each other since we were born. Our mothers have been friends since high school. We spent most of our childhood together along with Nicole living with me in her teen years for some time. That has created a bond like sisters for us. Although I was a few years older than Nicole, it did not stop me from corrupting her in our teenage years. I am so exited to have Nicole in my bridal pary as she is very special to me. Nicole is fun, and likes to party...you will see her come to life on the dance floor!

Jessica / "Cookie" is Godmother to my son Erich, and has been a significant part of my life since we were children. She is like a sister to me . We spent our teenage years figuring out life together, and making good and bad decisions. Mostly resulting in us labeled by my dad Terrorist 1 and Terrorist 2. She will be sure to inspire the bridal party to "Take it to a different level". Thankfully, we have enough different personality's to keep her tame. Be on the lookout in June for this firecracker!

Christina and I met in our 20's working together at Bed Bath and Beyond Corporate office, then years later finding out that Christina and my husband to be are cousins has brought us back into each others lives. We have had many days and nights out to dinner / drinks , bbq's, and spending time together down the shore soaking up the sun with some cocktails! All this has led us to develop an amazing friendship and her becoming like a cousin to me. I'm excited and honored for her to be part of the day. Keep your eye on her throughout the night. Her smile is sure to light up the room, and her positive energy will be contagious!

Gina Santangelo

Gina and I met each other in our 20's in Union. Years later when Chris and I reunited, I discovered that she was the wife of one of his closest friends (Paul Santangelo Groomsman). From that day forward we grew a friendship becoming inseparable! Becoming neighbors and Being quarantined this whole time together we have spent a lot of nights on the weekends having some drinks and dancing the night away in our kitchens. It is a definite that Gina will be a pro on the dance floor in June!

Edith and I met in school in our teenage years and became closer years later when we reunited at The Union Library when our sons were 3, from that day foward our sons became like brothers to each other & Edith and I became like sisters. Thankfully our parents both afforded us free time to go out one Saturday night in August 2012 . Edith decided to pick Black Thorn to go to & this is where I bumped into my future husband! She is one of my best friends and very special to me & I'm honored to have her as one of my bridesmaids on our special day. Once the drinks start flowing, keep your eye on Edith. She is guaranteed to make some memorable moments for the crowd, both on and off the dance floor!

Renee Mendoker

Renee and I met when we were 9 years old when I moved to Union. She was my first friend in town and we lived down the street from each other. We spent so many days and nights together playing in the park across the Street from our houses, sleep overs and developing an everlasting friendship. We shared many special moments together, and ultimately would share our pregnancy's at the same time. Renee is the type of friend that no matter how long we go without seeing or speaking to each other, we pick up right where we left off. I am honored to have her in my wedding party. Be on the lookout for her on June 12th...she is known to not follow directives once she has a few cocktails in her.
