FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

May 1st, 2026. If you do not RSVP by then, you will be considered a no.

Question

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors unless it is pouring rain, then it will be inside. Guests will walk on paved pathways, but will need to step on grass briefly to take their seats. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.

Question

Is the reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The reception is indoors.

Question

How do I get to and from the venue?

Answer

There is parking at the venue, should you choose to drive. In addition, there will be a shuttle running to and from the Holiday Inn Express and the St. James starting at 4:15 pm. The shuttle will also take guests back to these hotels at the end of the night. Please note when you RSVP if you will be using the shuttle.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding. If you are given a plus one, it is clearly listed on your invitation/RSVP and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Question

What if I have food allergies?

Answer

The dinner will be buffet style with a vegetarian option. If you have food allergies, please reach out to Chase or myself via text.

Answer

Men: Suit and tie preferred but not required. Dress trousers and a collared shirt is acceptable. Women: Midi or Maxi dresses Colors and patterns encouraged for this summer wedding! Search "Garden Wedding attire" online/pinterest if you need ideas/inspiration

Question

Are there dress colors to avoid?

Answer

White and black dresses should be avoided. The bridesmaids are wearing blues and greens but don't feel like you can't wear those colors. Colors and patterns are encouraged to celebrate the spring/summer time!

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

It will be indicated on your RSVP if your children are invited to the wedding.

Question

Weather????

Answer

The midwest is notorious for random weather changes. Historically, June 6th in Red Wing, Minnesota, has an average high of about 78 degrees and an average low of 58 degrees, with the possibility of rain. We will keep an eye on the rain and change the ceremony to indoors if needed but umbrellas for both rain and sun will be provided. A light sweater is always great to have handy.

Question

Is everything in the same location?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all at Legacy Hill Farm :)
