Why is there a large gap in time between ceremony and reception?

Answer

This is pretty common with catholic weddings. We are having an earlier ceremony due to when mass is at the church that Saturday night.

We have chosen to get married in Catholic Church and wanted celebrate with everyone in a more rustic location.

Are we able to leave our cars if you party a bit too hard?

Yes! Horstmann would prefer you leave your car overnight if you had too much to drink.

Is it an open or a cash bar?

Answer

It is an open bar! Tips are appreciated for the bartenders.

Brett and I decided to have children by invite only. It will be noted on your invitation if your children are invited.

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?

Yes! We ask that you don’t post anything on social media until we do and that you try to stay out of the photographers way.

Yes! Please reach out to me so I can make sure you have something that is safe for you to eat.

Your invitation will let you know if you can bring a date.

Please RSVP by August 1, 2026.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive about 5-10 minutes before the ceremony to be able to find your seat.

Is there a dress code?

We ask that you don’t wear sweats or holey jeans.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

If you look under travel it will have the hotels that we have room blocks at.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No we do not have transportation. Uber and Lift are available if needed.
