When Brant offered to help his friend Gabby move into her apartment, he didn't realize that he would be doing all of the work for both Gabby and her roommate, Jenna. While Gabby and Jenna had "Mandatory NCAA Compliance meetings", Brant, alongside their parents, completely moved their things into the apartment for them. That night at dinner, Brant spent majority of evening chatting with Jenna's dad. He went as far as inviting him on a fishing trip whenever he was in town next. Before even having a full conversation with Jenna, Brant had become friends with her dad. And, after many games of cornhole, playing sardines in the CSU library, and walking to class together every day, Brant and Jenna eventually became friends too.

Brant decided to propose to Jenna on their trip to Australia. Either Brant is a good liar, or Jenna is very gullible, because she had no idea he was going to propose on the trip. Brant asked his friend, Tim, to help with the arrangements. Tim had a picnic ready to go in the back of his car for when they arrived at a secluded swimming hole, and hurriedly pushed the picnic items out of the car, and left the pair there. Brant walked Jenna around the river bed and showed her around. When he stopped and turned towards Jenna to pop the question, he hardly had his hand in his pocket before Jenna started bawling. She said yes, and now it's time to say "I Do."
