Maid of Honor
Lily and I were randomly assigned as roommates our first year of college. Nothing says “instant friendship” like having all the same classes, living together, and not being allowed to invite anyone outside of our apartment… which, of course, we ignored. That little rebellion earned every student in our building — and our parents — a dramatic email about how “dangerous” our behavior was. Oops. Somewhere between the COVID chaos, the Zoom fatigue, and the mask‑induced acne, she became my person. Lily has been there for every questionable decision, every late‑night crisis, and every “hold my beer” moment since. She also witnessed the painfully awkward beginning of Brady and my relationship and still loves to bring it up whenever possible. At this point, she knows way too much not to be my maid of honor, so here we are.
Bridesmaid
Alli is my Bridesmaid, and also my future sister-in-law! Thanks to these Bauck Boys bringing us together she will be legally obligated to deal with me at every holiday for the rest of our lives. Lucky her! Alli and I have gotten really close over the last couple years, mostly because we have fully embraced our shared love of “old lady activities.” Bingo nights? We’re there. Puzzles? We take them way too seriously. City‑wide garage sales? You’ll find us with coffees in hand, mapping out which ones to hit first like it’s a military operation. Somewhere between the competitive bingo energy, the “just one more piece” puzzle marathons, and garage sale mishaps, she became one of my favorite people. I’m thrilled she’s standing by my side — and even more thrilled she’s stuck with me as family forever.
Bridesmaid
Bella is also my bridesmaid and future sister-in-law. This is a pretty big deal considering I never had a sister growing up, and I always begged my parents for one. So really this wedding is doing me a favor and giving me the sister I've always wanted... weather she likes it or not! I’m excited to officially gain a little sister — and even more excited to slowly force her into being my friend over the next several decades.
Bridesmaid
Kalee is my only female cousin, which automatically made her the closest thing I ever had to a sister growing up. She’s the younger one, but somehow also the more confident, outgoing, chaotic and sassy one. She’s the type who will break into song and dance at literally any moment. And her laugh? Completely contagious. You don’t even need to know what’s funny; you just hear her cackle and suddenly you’re wheezing right along with her. Even though our young adult lives have taken us in different directions, she’s still the kind of person who can make me smile the second I see her—mostly because I never know if she’s about to hug me, roast me, or start a full Broadway number in the middle of Target. Honestly, being around her is like stepping back into childhood… just with more caffeine and slightly better decision‑making... Slightly.
