Our story starts years before we ever met. Through a shared love of Dave Matthews Band, Jenna, her mom Gloria, and Bradley's mom Susan spent years traveling together to concerts all over the country and even Mexico. Along the way, Susan got to know Jenna long before she ever introduced her to Bradley. After enough concerts, trips, and conversations, Susan started to think the two of them might be a good match. A few years later, the timing was finally right. On October 9, 2022, our Moms arranged for us to meet at a Baltimore Ravens tailgate. Since we both attend every home game, it seemed like a pretty safe bet. After the game, we all went to dinner together and finally had the chance to get to know each other. After a couple more dinners and watch parties for the Ravens at The Local Jenna gave Bradley her number in hopes he could join her in a trip to Colorado. Whether real or not the trip didn’t work out but the conversation never really stopped. From there, the four of us started meeting up to watch away games together, usually at The Local. Somewhere between football Sundays, dinners, and countless conversations, it became pretty clear our Moms might have been onto something. Everything felt easy from the start, and before long it felt like we had always been part of each other's lives. Our first date came about when Bradley mentioned he had always wanted to try La Tavola in Little Italy. Jenna said she'd be happy to go with him, although neither of us had actually established whether it was a date or not until we were already sitting at the table. It ended up being a pretty great first date that included scootering around Baltimore, somehow ending up at The Bygone, and finishing the night watching UFC fights together. We officially started dating on January 27, 2023, and haven't looked back since. Since then, we've shared 21 Dave Matthews Band shows, countless Ravens and Orioles games, rounds of golf, family parties, vacations, and more memories than we ever could have imagined. Looking back, the best part is that everything has always felt natural. From the very beginning, we felt comfortable being ourselves around each other, and that has never changed. Everything just seemed to fit. A little over two years later, Bradley surprised Jenna by proposing during a trip to Capri, Italy, overlooking the Faraglioni rocks. It was an easy "yes," and the perfect start to our next chapter together. Now we're getting married, and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate with the people we love, especially our Moms, who knew exactly what they were doing all along. We can't wait to see you in October!
