Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is no transportation. There are limited taxi and uber options in our small valley so please plan accordingly.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking on site in a horse pasture right next to the venue. There will be a parking attendant to assist with parking as well. If families can carpool, that would be great! But there is ample parking available.

Question

Cell phones or photographer?

Answer

During the ceremony, we want you to be fully present and a part of the joining of our family. Please turn off your cell phones and leave the photos up to our amazing photographer during the entire ceremony! We want to see your faces, not phones. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive between 2:15 and 2:45. Ceremony will start at 3.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There's no need to suit up, but a sport coat or blazer sans tie (or bow tie) is okay. You're also welcome to wear a button down shirt (or polo) with slacks or jeans. If you feel comfortable, GREAT! Ladies, the venue is outside and the grass may be soft. You may want to rethink stilettoes or thin heals.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

The Caravan Inn in Glenwood has put together a special rate for us! This can be found on the accommodations page. There is also a hotel in New Castle and one in Silt if you would like to be closer.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will have a taco bar for food but no specific caterer. We will do our best to have vegetarian options but unfortunately cannot accommodate all food allergies.

Question

What are the plans for the reception?

Answer

We are doing a taco bar for dinner. We will have a cash bar too. Cupcakes for dessert!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

www.travelersjoy.com/hookedonsarno Ben and Jenna can't thank you enough. Truly, the best gift you can give us is your love and support while we begin our life together as a family. We are lucky enough to have a lot of the "essential" home items which is why we hope you will help us make our Alaskan honeymoon truly special. We have a few items that we would love to upgrade in our near-home adventure kit. We included those on the registry page if you would rather bring us an actual gift. Adventure is out there!
