Estes Park has been a big part of our story. We took our first anniversary trip here, got engaged here, and had countless breakfast dates and camping trips with friends.

Rocky Mountain National Park

Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the most beautiful spots in the country. We love hiking here or even just going for a drive and looking at the incredible scenery. Unless you have a national parks pass, there is an entrance fee of $30 per vehicle. They have hikes of all difficulty, from a one-mile loop around Sprague Lake (our engagement spot) to a 10.3 mile climb up Hallett Peak. Please do your research and prepare properly before embarking on a long hike.

We love Estes Park! (in case you couldn't tell)There are plenty of shops and restaurants to fill your day with. The amount of ice cream shops per capita in Estes Park is about 3. Downtown Estes Park is within walking distance from the venue and surrounding lodging. Some of our favorite spots are Claire's, Notchtop Bakery and Cafe, The Egg of Estes (formerly Egg & I), Penelope's burgers, and The Barrel.

These are the best cinnamon rolls/sticky buns we've ever had. This place is only open from 7:30-10AM Friday through Sunday and often runs out cinnamon rolls because they are so popular, so get there early!
