One of the first trips we took as a couple was to Mendocino County and it was during this trip that Ryan knew Jenna was the one for him. We were looking for a quiet place to relax after the holidays and fortunately, Ryan knew just the spot. A friend of his owned a cabin deep in the mountains, which he lent to us for the weekend. Unfortunately, however, the water heater was broken and the only source of heat was a few space heaters that we worried might burn the place down if left unattended. While Ryan was embarrassed by the lack of modern amenities offered by his romantic getaway, Jenna didn't seem to care in the slightest. It wasn't long before he was able to show her why Mendocino County was such a magical place. We spent the rest of the weekend eating farm-to-table dinners, hiking the coast, warming up at the hot springs and falling in love. We feel the area's laid back approach to the good life embodies what we want as a couple and we're excited to share it with all of you.
