Funnily enough, we met in the Penick backyard. Some might call it a meet-cute, others might call it fate. I suppose we can ultimately thank Jesse and Jenn for meeting and falling in love, otherwise we wouldn't have met. Jenna came home from a trip with her parents, while Jesse was having a pool day with friends at the Penick house, walked into her own backyard...and our lives were changed forever. While neither of us will admit it was love at first sight...our closest friends and family saw it from day 1, and never hesitated to poke fun at us individually when "Tommy sat up straight and started bragging about how he was Sherlock Holmes in a play" and "Jenna's eyes would follow Tommy across the room without even noticing". First we became close friends and fell madly in love somewhere along the way, and haven't looked back since! We've taken trips across the country spending wayyyy too much time in airports, we just moved into our first home, we spend plenty of time binge watching our latest obssesion and cheered on the Texans and Cougars (and the one time Tommy convinced her to root for the Cardinals over the Astros...just don't tell Rusty!). Jenna has even taught Tommy to appreciate the girl on fire, the mad man in the blue box and maybe even Love the boy who lived. While he has taught her that anything in life that keeps score, is worth watching. It's been a whirlwind ride that neither of us could imagine having taken with anyone else. As cheesy as it may sound, we are so incredibly excited to not only share our lives that are filled with so much joy and love that we can't wait to share with you, but we cannot wait to start our amazing life together.
