...and may they always be. We met in high school and after a few laughter-filled hangouts became good friends, but lost touch when Jenna went off to school. Dave reached out to hang-out soon after graduating with a few awkward texts and our love story took off from there. We still argue to this day about the first date at Bliss as Jenna was unaware she was on a date, but Dave will tell you without hesitation he is the reason this wedding is happening. After a great (mutually acknowledged) first date at Yankee Stadium, we knew we were meant to be together. Things took off quickly from there as the "getting to know you" phase had taken place years ago, and our relationship has been growing exponentially every day since then.

Why are we getting married in Newport, RI? Newport and Rhode Island have always had a special meaning to both of us, which is why we chose to say "I Do" here! Growing up, Jenna and her family always came to Newport, RI for family vacations and it quickly became one of her favorite places to be. Dave and his family also created warm family memories in Rhode Island at their beach home in neighboring Charlestown, RI. We continue to make great memories together here! Newport is part of where our love story began. On our first trip away together, Dave and I first said "I love you" on Thames street here in Newport. On the same trip, Dave carved our initials into a tree along Cliff Walk. 3 years later, this is where he proposed! It only seems natural to say "I do" here in Newport!
