In short, nope! We’re excited to celebrate this day with our favorite people and are purposely keeping the guest list small due to venue limitations and to have an intimate wedding to spend quality time with all of you! Thank you for understanding and not bringing a guest. However, we do encourage you to make a trip out of this and invite your partner/travel buddy even if they won’t be able to attend the wedding!
As of September 2021, everyone attending has been fully vaccinated which means they may enter Greece without a PCR test if they present a vaccination certificate. We will also be providing BinaxNOW at-home COVID kits for everyone to use for their flight home to the U.S. These kits are authorized for re-entry for U.S. airlines
As of June 2021 all staff members will wear masks. Our wedding (which is outdoors) will not require mask wearing from guests and all operations will continue as normal :)
We completely understand that not everyone will be able to make the trek to Greece. However, given our strict guest limits, we ask that you please let us know ASAP if you will not be able to attend.
We highly recommend flying directly from the U.S. to Greece and through US based airlines. That being said, if you must connect through other international airports, please check out this helpful website: https://thepointsguy.com/guide/transiting-european-airports-covid/?fbclid=IwAR0VuGqHawGQd3lRE70D9s4okopSzZKa-_H3KLYjjaNI9v_ZAJwQ5_nwSUQ
We'll be celebrating at Rocabella Hotel (https://www.rocabella-hotel-santorini.com/) at Imerovigli, Santorini! For more info, please see our schedule.
The venue is located in the city of Imerovigli, which is on the upper west side of the island, just south of Oia. Oia is a great option but it's a bit further from the main city and is much more expensive (that being said, our hotel has offered a 45% discount for guests). Rack rates prior to discount https://bit.ly/3dj0rCb We previously have stayed in Firostefani which was a short walk to downtown and a short bus ride to Oia.
We recommend 3-4 full days on the island. There are various other islands nearby that are fun to check out (e.g. Mykonos, Crete, Naxos, etc.).
We know you're traveling and we love your kids but our wedding is an adults only event. Your kids are more than welcome to join the trip and we're happy to put the parents in touch with each other if they are interested in sharing child care services on the island.
Unfortunately Uber is not available. However, there are taxis and the bus system is very easy to navigate.
Cocktail attire is encouraged! For the gents, that means a suit or button up shirt and for the ladies dresses or jumpsuits. Please note that our wedding is outdoors (overlooking the stunning Caldera sea!) and the weather should still be warm but you'll need a jacket in the evening.
We will have transportation for after the wedding. We plan on reaching out to all guests by the end of August to collect hotel/airbnb locations to ensure everyone gets back to their accommodations safely after the wedding. Stay tuned!
