One Sunday evening, Jenn & Jake met at Atomic Coffee in Royal Oak. They spent hours circling the city getting to know each other -- from the good, the bad & everything in between. Nothing but open & honest words were exchanged...and that's a great foundation to begin with. Before they knew it, the sun was setting and the streets were empty. Top first dates in the books! A cup of coffee & casual conversations (and a mutual swipe right) brought them here today. Bumble ignited the world's greatest love story. And oh is it sweet.

Jenn's birthday is always a celebration. But, this one was EXTRA special. The evening kicked off with a sushi dinner at Ronin in Royal Oak. Throughout the night, Jake seemed distracted. Jenn thought he was checking sports on his phone...little did she know, he was putting a plan into action. After dinner, they made their way to their first date spot, Atomic Coffee. They grabbed their drinks and sat down outside as Jenn began reading her birthday card. As she got closer to the end, she saw out of the corner of her eye Jake getting down on one knee. HE WAS PROPOSING. After a long moment of screaming and crying, she said YES. Best birthDAY ever. Not sure how any other one will top this.

A pandemic can postpone a wedding, halt daily activities and force set plans to pivot. What it can't do is stop the love between two people from takings its course in life. With their eyes locked, hands held and hearts intertwined, Jenn & Jake became husband & wife on a sandy beach in Charlevoix with mesmerizing views, their officiant, two witnesses and a photographer -- and it was the most intimate, magical moment focused solely on the love and sacred bond between these two.
