Our story began in the summer of 2023, when a simple swipe on a dating app changed everything. At the time, Joseph was living in Windsor, Ontario, and Taylor was in Detroit, Michigan—so close, yet separated by an international border. From our very first date, we knew there was something special. We spent that summer crossing the bridge and tunnel, exploring each other’s cities, and discovering new places together. Every visit felt like an adventure, filled with laughter, conversation, and the kind of ease that made it feel like we’d known each other forever. What started as a cross-border romance quickly became a love that neither distance nor borders could hold back.
