We're Getting Married!

Johnny spent many Labor Day Weekends in Kennebunkport with his lifelong friend Mike Levy and their family. Labor day in 2018 was turning out to be something a little more special. Mike’s girlfriend (now wife) Jess had become part of the Labor Day tradition, and so had her friends. Jess’s childhood best friend Jen needed a ride up to the beach for the weekend, so they asked Johnny if he would be willing to help. Johnny was happy to have company for the trip and so they went. After a few hours in the car and 2 days on the beach, Johnny and Jen began to see sparks fly between the two of them. The next week Jen was meeting her friends at Hampton Beach’s 2018 Seafood Fest and asked Johnny if he wanted to join (their first date). Johnny jumped at the opportunity to spend more time with Jen, even if it meant consuming food in front of her, certain to spill something on his shirt. Sure enough, he fell victim to the first food vendor they stopped at and assured Jen “I’m glad this happened so now I can tell you, this happens a lot” (And it does ‘til this day). Stains and all, Jen still got butterflies when she was with Johnny. As the months went on, Johnny took every opportunity he could to meet Jen at her apartment in Medford for a night of dinner and drinks in Somerville or cozying up with a movie. Before Johnny’s roommates (John & Diane) knew it, he was ditching them and moving in with Jen! Jen knew they had something special when they decided to sign a lease together in Haverhill after only 5 laughter-filled months of dating, and she was right. Three years and an engagement later, Johnny and Jen still call Haverhill home and have planted a life together. From Carney family trips to Winnipisaukee or Conner family trips to Lake George, Johnny and Jen are nearly inseparable. Their love for each other grows more and more every day and the laughter and joy between the two is endless. They can’t wait to celebrate their love together in June with all of you!
