We're getting married!

Jenise and Luke met in college their junior year at Florida Gulf Coast University. They both joined the power-lifting club and met at the club's first meeting of 2016. They trained together and hung out outside of practice for a while and grew a friendship. By spring of that year, they were a pair.

On January 19th, Luke and Jenise made one of the biggest decisions of their life. After months of coordination with her twin sister Jenna, Luke was finally able to get her to Florida for a trip. The last day of their trip they went to Sanibel Island where (unknowingly to Jenise) Luke was waiting to surprise her. While Jenise was walking down the seashore, Luke surprised her from behind and successfully locked her hand in marriage. Sanibel Island had been a frequent date location for the two and was the perfect location for this perfect moment.
