During the holidays, visitors can catch the trolley daily at 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. from November 22 until December 31. Moreover, trolley tours do not run on December 6, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve. Laurel Falls Trail

Laurel Branch and the 80-foot high Laurel Falls are named for mountain laurel, an evergreen shrub which blooms along the trail and near the falls in May. The waterfall consists of an upper and a lower section, divided by a walkway which crosses the stream at the base of the upper falls. Laurel Falls is one of the most popular destinations in the park and parking at the trailhead is limited.

New Orleans Sandwich Company

631 Parkway, Gatlinburg, TN 37738
, (865) 430-2151

This is our favorite, whole in the wall, place to eat. The restaurant contains a lot of authentic cajun food, and is well priced, you but should call ahead of time because they sometimes close early if they don't have a lot of business toward the end of the day.

Fannie Farkle's Amusement

Fannie Farkle is an arcade but we like to go their for their "farkle dogs" which is bratwurst covered in onions and bell peppers.

Gatlinburg Space Needle

Is the best arcade but also, the needle has an outdoor observation level that provides a 360 degree view of the Great Smoky Mountains.
