From the moment I walked in and set at his bartop I had his attention and he had mines. He was so attentive and went out of his way to bring me things. At first, I thought hmmm maybe he is just a great server and one of those goes above and beyond type of people however shortly after I was approached by my friend (who also worked at Bj's) and she mentioned he was asking about me. We both started very cautious and would tell each other we would take things slow because we both thought to ourselves "This has to be too good to be true" or "How are you even real?" we could not help the feelings we had for each other that evolved so quickly and in a matter of a month we both committed to being in a relationship so that whole "taking things slow" flew out the window lol. We truly have come so far and as these years have gone by.

Marlon surprised me with a beautiful proposal while we were on a family trip to Lake Tahoe. All of my family was able to be present that day which made it so special. They had told me they wanted to take a picture of Marlon and me and I remembered thinking oh wow Marlon intends to take a romantic picture ( if you know Marlon you know that pictures are not his thing) but I still did not catch on at all and was ready to pose for the camera so I was in a bit of shock as he kneeled down on one knee, I couldn't help but cry tears of joy and I remembered thinking I finally get to marry the love of my life.
