Literally studying their anatomy books as first years in physical therapy school at George Washington University, they started off school as friends and then Tanner asked Jenica out on a "date" to the Hirshhorn museum in DC, which she took as just a friendly hangout. Eventually, she got the hint and their friendship turned into more. Over the years they've cooked a lot of Saturday dinner meals, attended many Penn State football games, explored DC, adopted sweet Kona into their lives and can't wait to celebrate with all their loved ones on the big day!!
You could say Kona sealed the deal as she was an instrumental part of Tanner's proposal plan. Tanner spent months training her to "grab and carry" the ring bag (see photo section). His hard work paid off as she perfectly executed his plan and on a Saturday night in September after a home cooked meal. She helped Tanner ask Jenica to marry him and the rest you all know because you're on our wedding website! HUGE thank you to Kellyne Mendoza and her team at Hand and Heart for helping us plan our weekend! (@handheartevents)
