We met at the Avon Recreation Center in Avon, CO. Jenica was in the zone doing her usual HIIT routine in one of the empty studio classrooms where Sean always stretched. Jenica avoided eye contact to the best of her ability until Sean commented on her "fresh pumas". From there Jenica continued to try her best to ignore Sean every gym visit, but Sean stayed persistent and nailed a date after the 2nd try. From there, the connection was incredibly apparent and here we are today.

In August 2018, Jenica planned a camping trip to Telluride and Crested Butte, Colorado to celebrate Sean's birthday. The adventure took us to Ouray, Colorado, down to Telluride and then back up to Crested Butte for a fun filled 5 day vacation. We spent the majority of our time hiking the incredible terrain, bar hopping and relaxing at our campsite on the San Miguel River. One night under the stars, drinking wine and telling life stories, we decided our future story was going to include each other. A month later, Sean asked Jenicas father to have Jenicas hand in marriage...

The week of November 23rd Sean asked Jenica if she would model for a set of photos for one of Seans clients at Beaver Creek Resort. Jenica HATES posing for photos, but this time she decided to let Sean drag her along on this photo shoot at the top of Saddle Ridge Point in Avon, CO. This is the location of our first date. Saddle Ridge Point has a great view overlooking Beaver Creek Mountain and Avon, CO so it made sense for Seans photo shoot. He said he needed a few photos of a couple walking along the point showcasing the views of Beaver Creek. Sean set his camera on a timer to shoot intervals and began to run Jenica through some poses. At that point, he got down on one knee and asked the big question and she said YES! Jenica had no clue it was coming! The surprise was a success.
