They met at Coeur d’Alene Cellars in late August of 2018. Cody was the assistant wine maker at the time, and that evening he was working behind the bar. After ordering a glass of wine from him she decided to introduce herself when she was finished with her drink. Jenica, 23 years young, decided sipping wine was taking too long. In the classiest fashion she could muster, she downed the glass in a single gulp and slinked her way over to the barrel room. She introduced herself, laid a sick dad joke on him as soon as the opportunity presented itself, to which he responded instantly with sharp wit and left her befuddled. It’s not often you meet your equal in a game of wit and dad jokes. They’ve been trying to outdo each other ever since.
