Beautiful park near the water. Great spot you will always find yourself at when wondering the town of Bar Harbor.
Archie's Lobster
Highly Recommended Maine Lobster Restaurant. Has low-key seating by the water.
Acadia National Park
Crown Jewel of the North Atlantic Coast. Miles of hiking, beautiful rocky coastline. Accessed by Park Loop Road, you'll need a park pass to enter the park. Sand Beach and Thunder Hole are notable points along the one way loop through the park.
The Terrace Grille at the Bar Harbor Inn
Great Oceanside Lunch/Dinner. Photo features the bride and groom at the Terrace Grille by the fire pit. (Fun fact: the Inn and restaurant were featured at the beginning of the SNL sketch Domingo: Babymoon)
Jordan Pond
One of Acadia National Park's most pristine lakes, Jordan Pond offers a marvellous scenery where you can sit inside or outside, enjoying the popular tea and popovers. Remember to ask for HOT popovers.

Sherman's Maine Coast Book Shop Bar Harbor
Great bookstore on Main Street. Has a little bit of everything. Worth a walk through when in town. Very busy during the summer!
Eagle Lake
Great biking path around Eagle Lake. Former carriage trails built by John D. Rockefeller Jr., donated to Acadia National Park. Check out SOUTHWEST CYCLES (open Tue-Sat) in Southwest Harbor for bike rentals.
Wildwood Stables
Wildwood Stables continues the rich tradition of exploring Acadia by horse. Its central location near Jordan Pond provides easy access to over 40 miles of historic carriage roads through the east side of Mount Desert Island. You can reserve carriage ride tours of the park departing from Wildwood Stables.
Beech Mountain Trail
Nice easy hike with beautiful views. There’s an old fire tower on the peak that used to be used to spot fires on the island. Photo features the bride and the matron of honor in a field of lupine found on the way to Beech Mountain trail :)
Beehive Trail
Exciting rung and ladder trial with unbeatable views of Sand Beach, Thunder Hole, and the Gulf of Maine. Recommend going early morning or late afternoon to beat the crowds.
Bar Harbor Inn & Spa
You can book massages or spa treatment and afterward enjoy and lounge at the pool at the Bar Harbor Inn. There’s a poolside cafe/lunch spot and gorgeous views of the water.
