We met on Hinge (the dating app) in 2021! Evan was living in Chicago, and Jeni was living in Grayslake. Evan made the first move and sent Jeni a message, & Evan just so happened to have started working at the company Jeni's Dad had been working at for 17+ years. Just as a precaution before meeting a stranger from online (LOL), Jeni asked her dad if he knew a guy named Evan Powers. Little did she know that he would go to work the next day and try to hunt him down to figure out who he was, and meet him before Jeni even could. Well thankfully this didn't scare Evan away and they still met up for a first date & THE REST IS HISTORY! Crazy to think that 4 years later, we now live in Fort Worth, TX with our two dogs Oakley & Kiwi and can't wait to get married!
