Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Jeni Ihrke and Justin Myers

Presque Isle Park

Peter White Drive, Marquette, MI 49855

This is where we got engaged! The park is completely drivable and you are almost guaranteed to see some deer friends. If you are brave enough you can jump off of black rocks here into the nice cold Lake Superior water.

Little Presque Isle Recreation Area

County Rd 550 (heading towards Big Bay), MI 49855

Go through the trees to find miles and miles of beach.

Lakenenland

2800 Michigan 28, Marquette, MI 49855

This is a sculpture park that you can drive or walk through. It is free with an optional donation.

Sugarloaf Mountain

County Rd 550 (heading towards Big Bay), Marquette, MI 49855

An easier hike, but with a lot of stairs.

Hogback Mountain

County Rd 550 (heading towards Big Bay), Marquette, MI 49855

A more challenging hike, but will end with an amazing view.

Mount Marquette

Mount Marquette Road, Marquette, MI 49855

The easiest mountain view in Marquette. You can drive all the way up! No hiking required. (Not to be confused with Marquette Mountain which is our ski resort.)

Our Favorite Restaurants & Bars 🍸

Ore Dock Brewing Co.

114 West Spring Street, Marquette, MI 49855

The ore dock has multiple bar options in one building and an outdoor patio. Off of Front St you can find the entrance to their trestle lounge which is our favorite cocktail lounge.

Zephyr Winebar + Café

215 South Front Street, Marquette, MI 49855

Lagniappe Cajun Creole Eatery

145 Jackson Cut Alley, Marquette, MI 49855

Tasty food. Fun fact if you look on the floor you can see that it was an old bowling alley!

Iron Bay Restaurant & Drinkery

105 East Washington Street, Marquette, MI 49855

Stucko's Pub & Grill

900 North 3rd Street, Marquette, MI 49855

Third Street Bagel

429 North 3rd Street, Marquette, MI 49855
