Jerome and I had the pleasure of being formally introduced by a mutual friend and my brother. Unfortunately, after texting for a few days, Jerome ghosted me. (As you can see, I haven't forgiven him lol) Luckily for us, god had other plans and Jerome had a change of heart. Out of nowhere, Jerome texted me a couple months later. After finally meeting him in person in the parking lot of Toyota Jerome asked me out on a proper first date. Embarrassingly, I invited my brother and his girlfriend on our first date because one just never knows. Jerome has not let me live that down either. On October 14 we then solidified our relationship and made it official. I had the opportunity to meet Jeromes family on a trip to Houston in celebration of his sisters house warming party. It was during this time I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Jerome. In keeping with strong family values, Jerome has embraced my children like his own. He has effortlessly taken on the father figure role. When someone takes on your children as their own, it is really special. We look forward to sharing our love for one another and making our wedding memorable with family and friends by our side.
