David and Jenny met December 2020 in the thick of the global pandemic. David had just been recruited as the new leader of a worship team for an annual church retreat that Jenny had been a long-time member of and was meeting the team for the first time over Zoom. But due to social distancing regulations, the two didn't get to meet in person until much later; following the retreat, their relationship consisted of high regard for each other's musical talent, but not much else. After restrictions lightened, David and Jenny were able to meet during hangouts with mutual friends. Between these hangouts, their close mutual friend Danny occasionally made cryptic remarks that the two were similar and would get along, increasing mutual curiosity towards one another. These similarities went unnamed for a while before the three began regular study sessions at Wegmans, sharing dinners after their hard work. But when Danny unexpectedly announced one evening that he had separate plans, David and Jenny (who were still a bit awkward with each other at the time) took the opportunity to get to know one another. They found out quickly how easy communication was with each other. Wit was met with genuine laughter. Honest sharing was met with patience and a depth of understanding. Mutual trust and affection quickly transformed their budding friendship into romance, and soon enough, David asked Jenny to be his girlfriend. She said yes! One year and a day (and a diamond ring) later, she said yes again! We are excited to share our special day with you as we say "I do" at the altar, and to find out what's in store for us as our story continues to unfold!
