Our first date was at The Sterling in Buffalo, the day before Valentine's Day!

We started dating right before Covid hit and Jenette went back to Albany to finish her semester of graduate school online. The first few months of our relationship were almost entirely virtual, with lots of Zoom dates and phone calls.

Jenette's family was visiting her in Rochester and meeting Chris for the first time. Jenette told Chris "They [her family] love you!" and Chris misheard it as "I love you." He said it back, leading to confusion and a cute story!

Chris proposed on a family camping trip at Letchworth State Park, with both of our families present. He popped the question while posing for a picture in front of a waterfall, and had secretly hired a professional photographer to capture the moment!
