Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) - the largest and most likely the cheapest 2. Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) in Greensboro, NC 3. Concord-Padgett Regional Airport (USA) in Concord, NC - small and easy airport with cheap flights on Allegiant A couple of other options that may be worth exploring include the Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) and Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), which are both approximately 2 hours away. You rich? Have your own jet?! Feel free to look into flying straight into the Statesville Regional Airport! We're not fancy enough to help you with that one though...
