We met 19 years ago at a speed dating event that our friend (Liz) was hosting and dated briefly. We ended up remaining friends for 9 years. In those years we kept in touch both secretly thinking we missed our chance to be together but never speaking about it until Ben returned home for a visit and we shared our true feelings. That day in the park began what would be the beginning of the rest of our lives. 10 years ago we eloped with the plans of having a larger wedding with our family and friends, but life gave us two boys, beautiful homes, and a cross-country move back home to NY. We feel that now is the perfect time for us to get to celebrate our marriage and life with all of our nearest and dearest friends and family.
