Please RSVP by August 1, 2020. This allows us to plan further in advance, especially given the more complex situation with COVID-19.
Please arrive between 4:30 and 4:45PM to ensure enough time to park, mingle, and be seated prior to the start of the ceremony at 5PM.
Yes! The address we provided to you on the invite and website (668 Friendship Road) will bring you straight to the designated parking lot for our wedding. Don't GPS the name of our venue as it will bring you to their other wedding venue.
The dress code will be black-tie optional. Feel free to wear anything from a tux to a suit for men, and from a floor-length gown to a cocktail dress for women. This event will be outdoors and on the grass for the ceremony, so make sure to dress accordingly (aka probably not stilettos)!
Please check out the "Accommodations" page on our website for recommendations on where to stay. There is an inn located conveniently onsite. There are also other options available, all within 20 minutes of the venue.
Of course! We will have an open bar (unlimited drinks) from 5:30-9:00PM. The bar will close 30 minutes prior to the end of the reception to allow guests to sober up before they have to drive home. As a reminder, only those 21 years or older are allowed to consume alcohol. The venue has the right to ID anyone they feel isn't 21 years old, so please make sure to bring a valid photo ID with proof of age.
Yes! Please include any dietary restrictions in your RSVP online. If you would like to update your RSVP to include this, simply click the "RSVP" page on our website to update your RSVP.
There is currently no limit on outdoor gatherings in Anne Arundel County (county our wedding is located in). Since our wedding ceremony and reception are both outdoors (reception is in a tent that is open to the outdoors), there is no limit to the number of people that can attend.
Since our venue is outdoors, we will not require that guests wear face masks. However, if you feel safer wearing one, please feel free to bring and wear your own.
Our venue has done an incredible job at securing equipment and implementing safety measures to ensure the venue is as safe as possible for guests. Some of these include: hand sanitizer stations at all entrances, air purifiers inside the reception tent, masks and individual hand sanitizers for all staff, clear partitions for all food served on tables, guest tables spaced at least 6 ft apart, and sanitizing of all surfaces prior to the event.
Yes! Automatic, contactless hand sanitizer stations will be available at all entrances and throughout the reception tent.
During the cocktail hour, all appetizers (except the fruit display) will be passed by servers. The fruit display will be available at a station with a clear partition separating guests from the display, and a server will serve your desired portion to you. During the reception dinner, guests will be called up by table to the buffet line, where servers will serve your desired portion of any food items you want, separated by a clear partition.
As of right now, we have moved our dance floor to the outdoor patio, which will be entirely outdoors with no walls. If weather is bad, we will likely move it back inside the tent, which is also open to the outside on one side. Guests can use their own discretion when dancing on the dance floor. There will be no COVID police forcing people to dance 6ft apart, so do what makes you comfortable!
We completely understand that some people may feel uncomfortable with gatherings during COVID-19. If you still don't feel safe attending our wedding despite reading about the safety measures that will be in place, we completely respect that. We will miss you at the wedding, but your safety is the most important thing to us. Please kindly make sure to update your RSVP as soon as possible so we know you don't plan to attend.
