Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us

Kia Sesay

Sarah's Bridesmaid

I met Kia when I started going to the Thomas Family Daycare when I was six weeks old. Growing up, I spent a majority of my time at the Thomas house, and Kia was always there to make it exciting. We spent most of our time in the basement playing games, watching movies, or just talking. I would have followed Kia anywhere, proven by a particular mishap in which I went sledding right into a fence. As adults, we now call each other sisters and maintain our relationship with pure silliness and love. Kia stood beside me through many trials in my life, and I cannot wait for her to stand with me on my wedding day.

Kaylie Gage

Jen's Bridesmaid

I met Kaylie in the fifth grade, and we bonded over our sophomore-year Humanities class and love for Dana Altobelli. Together, we conquered our high school physics final project, one of many academic achievements which Kaylie influenced. Kaylie gave me the little push I needed to apply to college, and for that I am forever grateful. I'm so happy we've stayed friends all this time, and while we managed to only visit each other three times in college, my 'invisible friend' is still just a phone call away.

Hannah Hilsman

Sarah's Bridesmaid

I met Hannah during our freshman year at Assumption College. We happened to find each other as we were both wandering the halls trying to find our math class. Later in the year, we found out that we would be working together as Resident Assistants. We soon became fast friends while spending time together doing crafts, talking about trees, and watching Disney movies in abandoned residence halls. The strength of my friendship with Hannah is based in long talks. During these discussions, Hannah often challenges me to think about things in a different way, which can be a difficult task considering my tendency to be stubborn. Hannah continues to challenge me after seven years of friendship, and I am excited to share my wedding day with her.

Kelsie Phillips

Jen's Bridesmaid

Kelsie was my first roommate at Assumption College, where we bonded over our tremendous door art and perfecting the college afternoon nap. Kelsie put up with me when I used a coffee maker for the first time at 3 am our freshman year, and spilled water everywhere (needless to say, I didn't succeed in making coffee). I continued to test her patience due to my inability to quietly move about the room at night. That was the start of our relationship of me doing silly things and Kelsie catching my eye at the right moment. Despite all of this, Kelsie was instrumental in helping me pull together my proposal to Sarah. Our creativity brought us together, and I cannot wait to get creative with wedding ideas with her.

Mary Craig

Sarah's Bridesmaid

I met Mary my sophomore year at Assumption College when she was my resident in Nault Hall. We bonded over our love for grammar, sarcasm, and the Red Sox. Mary was the perfect match for my sardonic sense of humour, and we spent most of our free time poking fun at each other. Being unwillingly named the smartest of our friends, Mary spent much of her time helping others with their coursework. Most notably, Mary helped me pass my American Government course, despite being Canadian. Mary has kept me laughing the entirety of our friendship, and I am excited to laugh with her on my wedding day.

Lilly Irwin

Jen's Bridesmaid

My world collided with Lilly's on several planes in college; we were both Resident Assistants at Assumption College, where we bonded over Accounting and supported each other through all-night study sessions. Lately, we've battled at Mario Kart (she has yet to beat me); I discovered that she is the perfect wedding date. I love the passion that Lilly brings to everything that she does, like her passion for Broadway shows, country concerts, and the importance of performance arts, which she demonstrates in her work at The Hanover Theatre in downtown Worcester. Lilly is always up for anything and I love her for that, too.
