A Brazilian Tradition: What is the Cutting of the Groom's Tie?

This is an old-school tradition. The cutting up of the groom's tie into a bunch of little pieces later in the night. Each piece is then auctioned off to wedding guests, and the couple puts the cash towards their honeymoon. If you'd like to participate, bring some smaller bills to the reception.
