WALKING DISTANCE FROM HOTEL: 5-10 minutes This will be one of the easiest fun activities to do in the area. Coors field is a beautiful stadium with views of the mountains and downtown Denver. The stadium is just a short 5 minute walk from the hotel. "Rock pile" tickets in the bleacher section in center field are $10 or less! If the bleachers aren't your vibe, you can find other seats for $20-$40. WALKING DISTANCE FROM HOTEL: 3-5 minutes This is one of Jen and Ray's favorite places to visit in downtown Denver. A very short walk from the hotel, Union Station is beautiful building with a variety of bars and restaurants inside. You can visit just to look around or you can stay to eat and drink.
WALKING DISTANCE FROM HOTEL: 3-5 minutes The Coloradan is where Jen was living when she met Ray. They ended their first date at a restaurant at the bottom of the building (that's no longer operating). When Ray came and visited her, they would often frequent Sweetgreens and Kaffe Landskap together. Sweetgreens has delicious and healthy salad bowls, while Kaffe Landskap has very good coffee with some sandwich and smoothie options as well. Jen and Ray still own Jen's condo unit in this building and are currently renting it out.
DRIVING DISTANCE FROM HOTEL: 25 minutes An absolute must-see, if you've never been. An outdoor concert venue by night, and an awesome public park by day. Some say it's the best concert venue in the country. You can go in the morning or afternoon and walk around for hours. There are plenty of trails in the area, along with free parking. If you want a real challenge, try climbing the stairs of Red Rocks. The view at the top is definitely worth it, and there's a museum you can walk through for free! The museum shows you the history of the venue and the many famous acts who have performed there over the years. Ray and Jen love live music and have enjoyed many concerts there. DRIVING DISTANCE FROM HOTEL: 30-40 minutes Want to see a Colorado Mountain Town that's only 40 minutes from downtown? Go to one of Ray and Jen's favorite local spots, Idaho Springs. It's a historic mountain town, known for its scenic canyon setting, hot springs, and easy access to hiking and outdoor adventures. It’s a great quick getaway for guests looking to experience the mountains, go on a hike, or grab a bite, and enjoy a more relaxed, small-town Colorado vibe. Ray and Jen like Beau Jo's pizza and the Slaymaker meadery! If you've never had mead, it's essentially wine made with honey and, it's delicious!
WALKING DISTANCE FROM HOTEL: 1 minute Tavernetta is Jen's FAVORITE restaurant in all of Colorado. Expect incredible upscale Italian food and handcrafted cocktails. Best part? It's right next door to the hotel. A reservation will be needed unless you plan to sit at the bar. If you bring Jen a bite of the burrata appetizer, she will be your friend for life.
WALKING DISTANCE FROM HOTEL: 3-5 minutes Just a short walk from the hotel, Wynkoop is Colorado’s First Brewpub in a very cool historic building with outdoor patio seating available. Besides having good beer and food, they have pool and darts and a lot of TV's. Jen and Ray have had many beers together here over the past couple years. They both love IPA's!
WALKING DISTANCE FROM HOTEL: 10 minutes The Dairy Block is a trendy downtown micro-district featuring boutique shops, restaurants, bars, and a lively alley with art, string lights, and frequent pop-up events. Ray and Jen often frequent here on their dates. Westbound and Down is a good brewery, and Blanchard Wines is a cute winery (and it's also the location of the Friday Welcome Event). While you're over here, make sure to stop at the Denver Milk Market as well (see below).
WALKING DISTANCE FROM HOTEL: 10 minutes The Denver Milk Market is a lively food hall inside the Dairy Block featuring a variety of local vendors, craft cocktails, and casual dining options all under one roof, making it a great spot for groups to grab different types of food and drinks in one place.
WALKING DISTANCE FROM HOTEL: 3-5 minutes Just steps from the hotel, McGregor Square is a lively outdoor plaza next to Coors Field featuring a massive LED screen, perfect for watching games, grabbing drinks, and enjoying the downtown atmosphere. Jen and Ray have watched many Georgia Bulldog and Denver Nuggets games here. This is a good alternative to going to the Rockies game. You can still sit outside and watch on a massive TV screen without needing to buy a ticket.
WALKING DISTANCE FROM HOTEL: 10-15 minutes Larimer Square is a historic downtown block known for its iconic string lights, upscale restaurants, boutique shops, and lively nightlife atmosphere. Osteria Marco is a lively Italian spot known for handmade pastas and a great group atmosphere, and The Capital Grille is an upscale steakhouse offering classic cocktails and a more polished dining experience.
RiNo is one of the most popular neighborhoods in Denver, known for breweries, food halls, and street art. Great for casual daytime exploring or bar hopping. You'll see art scattered around everywhere on buildings, sidewalks, and more. Improper City is a good spot for the young crowd looking for an outdoor space to hang with multiple food trucks. Cart-Driver is one of Jen and Ray's favorite pizza spots.
DRIVING DISTANCE FROM HOTEL: 10 minutes Going on all weekend, it's one of the biggest events in Denver this weekend. Expect live music, food vendors, art, and a parade in the Five Points neighborhood. It's a short 10 minute Uber from downtown or a 40 minute walk. Click the link for more info and times.

DRIVING DISTANCE: 20 minutes City Park is a large, scenic park just minutes from downtown featuring walking paths around Ferril Lake, open green space, and some of the best views of the Denver skyline with the mountains in the background. FUN FACT: This is where Jen took Ray for their 2nd date together.
