How we met Jen’s version

I had the biggest crush on pat when we were in 8th grade but we never talked and had diffrent friend groups throughout middle and high school, but always thought he was cute. Fast foward 6 years, I message pat on facebook “hey!” Little did I know those three letters would be the greatest message I ever sent. We start talking and made plans to hang out and watch movies at my house one night. Five minutes before Pat was supposed to be at my house, my computer decided to reboot itself!! It took over an hour for it to restart but the whole time we just talked and got to really know each other more then just being class mates. Turns out we have a lot of the same intrests and love of harry potter...even tho he is a ravenclaw. From that day on tho we have been together, and will be together Always.

How we met Pat’s version

One day I got a message saying hey from Jen on Facebook. I knew who she was from high school but never really talked to her before. I messaged back and we never stopped talking. It was very obvious we had a lot in common and I went to her place to hang out a few days after her text. We hung out a couple more times then I asked her out, we just clicked.

The proposale

It was May 26, 2018, our one year anniversary. Pat had to work late so we planned to celebrate the next day, but go to get ice cream still to celebrate. As we are walking past the park where they have a military memorial,he said he wants to see if they have it lit up for memorial day. So we go over to the park and I'm not thinking much about it, his Grampy who he was really close with has a plaque in the park. So we find the plaque and the Park is lit up, that's when pat turns to me. He grabs my hand, and gives me the most beautiful speech and then when he gets down on one knee I start to cry a little, he asked the most perfect question "Will you marry me?"

For all the days along the way
