We met while I was working at Tailgaters in 2008, a bar in Fairport, right after moving back from FL. Mike decided to ask me for another drink in a way that I didn't appreciate LOL when he refused to be nicer I took his drink away and asked him. Did you have fun? Because you're all done. He left maybe hating me but when he came back in a couple weeks he had learned to love me. Lol We became friends after that for many years. Helped each other through breakups and life. Then in 2014 in Alexandria bay he asked me to be his girlfriend. It was also the place that we said I love you for the first time. We spend as much time up there as possible. It is a very special place for us.
Mike took me to our spot on the water at Alexandria bay for the weekend on our 5 year anniversary. On the balcony that over looked the st-lawrence river, with the sunset painting the sky, Mike got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes.
