FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

It's springtime in San Diego! It's no black tie event, but we would love to see our family and friends dressed to impress, along with being comfortable (no jeans or denim, please). Springtime colors are encouraged.

Question

Can I bring a guest / date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests named on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. We ask that only the named people in the invitation are in attendance. Thank you for understanding and please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults only event with the exception of our nieces and nephews. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night or a mini vacation for you and your significant other!

Question

When do we need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by March 07, 2025. If we do not receive your RSVP by the deadline, you will be marked as "not attending". The reason for this being that we must provide accurate guest count to all of our vendors within a timely manner. We hope you understand.

Question

What do I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding! Please let us know as soon as possible, and RSVP "not attending" so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Our venue has free parking on site. We encourage guests to Uber or Lyft from hotels to the venue, as this location can get quite busy on the weekends.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over, please feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes. The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! Get ready to party! For this reason, we encourage Uber/Lyft to and from the venue. Please make sure you have a way to get home safely.

Question

Will the wedding be in indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be indoors. Cocktail hour will be outdoors. San Diego is known for its amazing weather, but April might still be chilly. Bring a light jacket just in case! Please note: The ceremony and reception will both be held at the BRICK in Liberty Station.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. We suggest arriving to the venue at 3:30 PM to be sure you are able to find the venue, get parking, enjoy a welcome drink, and settle in before the ceremony begins.

Question

Where should we stay if we are visiting from out of town?

Answer

San Diego has an abundance of places to stay including hotels and vacation home rentals. Please look at our Travel tab to find hotel suggestions that are a short drive to the venue.
