Locust Grove isn't just our venue - it's also an awesome place to spend the day! From the website: "Set on a hill overlooking the scenic Hudson River in Poughkeepsie, New York the not-for-profit Locust Grove Estate includes a historic Italianate mansion open for tours, 200 acres of landscaped grounds with five miles of hiking trails, and a visitor welcome center with art galleries, museum shop, and classrooms for educational programs."
This former railroad bridge is now a pedestrian walkway with gorgeous views of the river! Start at the parking lot on Parker Avenue for a 3 mile there-and-back walk, or keep it short by using the elevator at Upper Landing Park.
"Now departing from Poughkeepsie on the first Saturdays of each month! Enjoy a two-hour, narrated cruise highlighted by the breathtaking natural scenery, beautiful estates, lighthouses, and landmarks along the route. These cruises depart from Victor C. Waryas Park in Poughkeepsie, NY."
