You’re more than welcome to stay near our rooftop venue, Ferroviário, which overlooks the Tagus River. But if you’d like to be in the heart of the city, we recommend Chiado (image above), Bairro Alto, or Baixa de Lisboa. These neighborhoods are central, full of charm, and with plenty of hotels and Airbnbs. These areas are about a 10–15 minute car ride to Ferroviário.

Uber is Available
Although standard taxis are available throughout the city, Uber is also a commonly used form of transportation. As always, please double check that you are entering in the right uber and remain vigilant during the trip.

Level 1 Destination for Lisbon
As of September 2025, there are no specific high-level travel advisories for Lisbon. The U.S. Department of State classifies Portugal as a Level 1 destination, advising "normal precautions" due to generally low violent crime and high safety. We will continue to monitor any advisories and provide updates as we approach our celebration date.
