Yes. Masks are required for all guests and vendors. Unless you are eating/drinking or snapping a very quick photo outdoors, please wear your mask for the duration of all of our wedding-related events and when you are interacting with other guests who are not immediate family throughout the weekend.
Your health and safety are our absolute highest priorities. We are taking the following COVID-19 precautions: -Significantly downsizing our event to comply with North Carolina's guidelines on mass gatherings -Hosting all wedding-related events outdoors -Seating guests with family or friends with whom they have previously been in contact, as far as possible -Providing individually served drinks, dinner, and dessert -Providing hand sanitizer -Asking all vendors and guests to wear masks when they are not seated at their assigned table to eat or drink
Yes! We completely understand that you may not want to travel or attend an event at this point in time and hope that you can virtually join us for our wedding ceremony. Please see the "Events" tab for information on our livestream.
Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Mountain Magnolia Inn in Hot Springs, NC.
Our dress code is cocktail attire. Both our ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. We will provide outdoor heaters to keep folks from getting chilly, but we encourage you to bring layers so you can stay comfortable once the sun goes down!
We are having an "unplugged ceremony," which means we are asking all of our lovely guests to leave photography to the pros. We promise we will share professional photos when we receive them!
Nope! Jen will remain Ms. Hallaman and the happy couple will go by Mr. Kevin Hannon and Ms. Jennifer Hallaman. Cheers!
Late October is peak fall in the North Carolina mountains, so we should be in store for some beautiful foliage! Plus, we look forward to having killer anniversary parties ;)
Western North Carolina holds a very special place in our hearts - we were frequent visitors during our years in Atlanta and love the Blue Ridge Mountains and little mountain towns like Hot Springs. Hot Springs gets bonus points for being an Appalachian Trail town - look for the tell-tale white blazes on the road! We understand that this isn't the easiest place to get to, and we don't want anybody to stretch their budget too thin. Once you get here, you'll find that lodging, food, and transportation are extremely affordable. We'd love to share this special part of the country with you & hope that you can make it!
