Hotel
Trendy hotel in Cork, about 25 minutes from Fota Island. 12 Minutes walk to The Oliver Plunket (a cool bar in Cork City). They offer nearby parking at the South parking lot of the train station - Pay via a parking app
Hotel
Closer to Cork City Center. Straight from their site: "Enjoy 20% off our Bed & Breakfast rates on selected dates throughout 2025. Discover the charm of Cork with this limited-time offer, bookable only from 26th December 2024 until 16th January 2025!"
Flight
Cork has its own international airport. If flying into Cork, on Aer Lingus, there will generally be a layover in Heathrow. Fewer flights go through this airport though.
Flight
Lots of airlines and flights through Dublin. If your travels in Ireland extend beyond the wedding, might be best to rent a car. If you're heading back to the states from Dublin though, US Customs will happen in Dublin! Give yourself extra time if leaving out of Dublin to get through this part of security.
Travel Note
If you're just trying to get to/from the wedding, catch an air coach that will take you straight from Dublin airport to Cork city center- about 3.5 hour coach ride. The Cork drop off is a 15 minute drive from the venue. This is the most streamlined (and most cost effective) way to get to Cork if you're not flying into Cork Airport directly.
Travel Note
Ireland is not "green" friendly. If you get caught (on the property), they can kick you out of the hotel and call the guards. Please be mindful
