We first met on a fateful night at Jefferson Social thanks to our mutual friend Scarlett. After hitting it off, we went on our first official date at Cincinnati Cyclone's dollar beer night. After our uber dropped us off essentially in the middle of the highway, we knew we were in for an eventful night! The moment we knew that this was something special was during the intermission show. Watching people fall and hurt themselves on the ice had us both cracking up laughing. This was the first of many nights full of laughter! The night ended abruptly with Jen awkwardly calling an uber right after the game, but luckily Josh didn't let that throw him off! Ever since then, our relationship has had a strong element of Cincinnati pride. There is nothing we enjoy more than tailgating for a Bengals game, spending a day at Great American Ballpark, or gallivanting with bourbon gingers around the various bars and restaurants around the city.
The happiest day ever! Josh organized a private tour of Paul Brown Stadium with our parents in tow. Somehow, Jen didn't question why a private tour with whoever we wanted to bring would come free courtesy of the "Jungle Pass" (aka the cheapest possible Bengals tickets you can buy). At the end of the tour, our guide told us that we could run onto the field where the Bengals do. After about 10 steps in, Jen was done running. But, Josh made her continue out to the 50 yard line, and that's when everything finally clicked! He got down on one knee at one of the most special possible spots to us. After lots of tears and pictures, we had a champagne toast in the parking lot outside of the pro shop (classy!), and headed to Moerlein Lager House to celebrate. Here, our siblings surprised us by joining the party. It was truly the perfect day!
