First, there was Bumble. And then there was Love.

Yes, Bumble the dating app! That's how we first connected, on none other than Valentine's day of last year. Soon afterward, we had our first date at Florez Bar & Grill in Land Park, Sacramento. Our first overnight trip together was in San Francisco, where Jonathan thought he booked a boutique bed and breakfast but in actuality turned out to be a room in someone's house. But hey, it was at least a nice house; we just had to ignore the messy teenager's room across the hall from ours as we came and went. And our first concert together was John Legend, who we saw in Berkeley. And this year--the year of our wedding--was the first new year we brought in together as a part of each other's lives. We're so glad we found each other, and we're looking immensely forward to an entire lifetime's worth of firsts together. Life is best when it's shared with the one you love.
