THE PROPOSAL

In March of 2023, we went on our dream Europe trip. The first stop was Rome, Italy, and John took me to a lookout point with beautiful views of the city. Little did I know, while I had been planning the trip, he was planning a proposal. When taking photos at the lookout point, John got down on one knee and popped the question! He secretly hired a photographer to capture the special moment. And after that, we ran around Rome with the photographer for a newly engaged photoshoot at all of Rome’s hot spots!

My mom coincidentally had an overlapping trip and was in Venice at the time of the proposal. John pulled off an even greater surprise and coordinated with her to fly down to Rome and surprise me! It truly was the most special day.
