Please join us for the Spirit of Aloha at the Luau Cove the evening before our wedding! You'll enjoy a family style meal of classic island favorites, tropical drinks, and a spectacular show. You will need to meet us at the lobby of the Great Ceremonial House no later than 30 minutes before the show starts - 4:30 PM
Dress comfortably and casually for the weather. You may need a light jacket for the evening performance. We understand that your vacation plans may not allow for you to join us at our welcome party and there is no need to change your travel plans or cut short a day in the Parks. If you do intend to join us, please RSVP on this website (upper right corner of the screen) to let us know. This is a ticketed event and only those who RSVP will be on the list of guests for that evening. If you are not staying at the Polynesian Resort, you can hop on the bus from your resort to the Magic Kingdom and transfer to the Monorail Resort Loop. The Polynesian is the 3rd stop (after the Contemporary and the Ticket and Transportation Center). You will arrive on the second floor of the Great Ceremonial House. For a quicker journey, you can also take a Lyft to the Polynesian. They will drop you off in front of the Great Ceremonial House.

Our wedding ceremony will take place at Luau Pointe, just off of the beach and the lagoon. Not sure what to wear? Think linen or khaki pants, short-sleeve button downs, Hawaiian patterns, colorful maxi dresses, island-inspired sundresses, boat shoes, sandals, floppy hats and sunglasses. Please no shorts or flip flops. We ask all guests to arrive thirty minutes ahead of the ceremony. If you are not staying at the Polynesian Resort, you can hop on the bus from your resort to the Magic Kingdom and transfer to the Monorail Resort Loop. The Polynesian is the 3rd stop (after the Contemporary and the Ticket and Transportation Center). You will arrive on the second floor of the Great Ceremonial House. For a quicker journey, you can also take a Lyft from your resort to the Polynesian. They will drop you off in front of the Great Ceremonial House. Once arrived, follow the signage towards Luau Cove. Cast Members will be able to assist you.
2:15 pm - 6:15 pm
Although you can always return to your room to catch a quick nap or relax by the pool, there are many things to do right where you are at the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian Resorts between the Ceremony and the Reception.
Feel like a drink? Trader Sam's Grog Grotto (Polynesian) has a Tiki theme and interactive cocktails. The Enchanted Rose (Grand Floridian) serves signature cocktails and small plates in Belle's and the Beast's Library. Tambu Lounge (Polynesian) offers views of the Seven Seas Lagoon and serves rum-filled pineapples! The California Grill (Contemporary) can be accessed from the desk on the 2nd floor and boasts a lounge with 360 degree window-walls Just want to explore? The Polynesian has fun actives like hula lessons, tropical flower filled walking paths and a beach to relax on. You can even head to the marina and rent speed or pontoon boats. The Grand Floridian hosts daily princess parades, roaming artists, and a full service spa. They have a beautiful tea room (reservations usually required) and a live orchestral band that plays in their two story lobby. The Contemporary is a self-contained, futuristic resort with the monorail zipping right through the lobby!

Sago Cay Pointe is located at the Grand Floridian, just a monorail hop or a brisk walk away from the the Polynesian! We'll have an assortment of delicious foods for you, both savory and sweet, to enjoy until darkness falls and the fireworks begin!
Please arrive in casual cocktail attire. Whatever you wore to our ceremony will be fine, but you may also wear a LBD, cocktail dress, dress shirt and slacks. There's no need to wear a ballgown or a tuxedo. It may be cooler in the evening than it was during the day so bring a sweater or a jacket. If you are coming from a resort not on the monorail loop (Polynesian, Contemporary), take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and transfer to the Monorail Resort Loop. The Grand Floridian Resort is the 4th stop (after the Contemporary, the Ticket and Transportation Center and the Polynesian). You will arrive on the second floor of the lobby in the Main Building. From the Polynesian, you can take a water taxi from the dock or the Monorail (one stop) from the Great Ceremonial House. You can also take a Lyft from anywhere on property to the Grand for usually less than $15. Lyft will drop you off in front of the Main Building. Once there, follow the signage to Sago Cay or ask a Cast Member!
