In light of the COVID-19 vaccine not being rolled out as quickly as we had hoped, we've moved our wedding to November 13, 2021. The bride and groom are vaccinated, and we will abide by whatever mitigation protocols/mandates are in effect at the time of the wedding. Our complete guest list is already under 50% capacity for our venues. Currently, masks for this event are not required, but if you would prefer to wear one, you are absolutely welcome to! If you'd prefer not to attend due to the pandemic, we completely understand. You can update your RSVP anytime before October 22 on this site, and we wish you health and safety during this time.
Please let us know your plans by October 23, 2021 (this date may change once invitations are sent out). Once we send out the formal invitations, you'll be able to RSVP on this website.
We love kids, but we're limiting this event to children in the family only. Infants are the exception.
Honestly, it's not that important to us. We're suggesting cocktail to semi-formal attire, but anywhere in that ballpark would suit us just fine! See what we did there? Seriously though, no pressure. We're just happy to celebrate with you!
Please don't feel as though you must buy us a gift. It's been a trying couple of years, and we are ecstatic just to have YOU! However, if you would like to mark the occasion with a gift, we are registered at Williams Sonoma and Bed, Bath & Beyond.
Parking is relatively easy and cheap in downtown Asheville. The meters aren't free until after 6pm, but there are several parking decks. Out of sheer ease-of-use and convenience, we highly suggest using Uber or Lyft. If you choose to drive, there is a free parking lot at the reception site, but it's very small. Please click on the Travel tab above to see our suggestions for parking downtown.
Let's get right to the important stuff - the FOOD! The Century Room is directly about Pack's Tavern, which offers a variety of amazing food. For our event, we've chosen: TBD
You can walk through downtown Asheville if you'd like (approximately 7 minutes), but we've also hired a trolley to get you to the reception!
If we were getting married 15 years ago, we probably would have wanted to party in the wee hours of the morning. However, the reception will end at 10:30 for two reasons. 1) We're old, and 2) we want you to go out and enjoy the city! Downtown Asheville has become a wonderful destination in recent years, with new amazing bars, restaurants and breweries popping up all the time.
We'll let you know!
