We met while working at the same company. He wondered who the cutie with the red hair was and she wondered why she read though 94 pages of Jungle Cruise Skipper stories when he sent it to her. They started hanging out when a work group was created of people who had Disneyland annual passes. The group (called the "Ink and Paint Club") would go down after work and on weekends and that is how Jen and Glenn got to know each other. After some months of this Glenn's Best Man Ed decided that something had to be done. For months he had been playing middle man since he had both Jen and Glenn's phone numbers, but they didn't have each others. So finally he connected them via group text saying "There! Now you have each other's numbers." That night Glenn walked Jen to her car on the Donald level of the Disneyland parking garage and after 45 minutes he said "So I like you." She responded, "well thats convenient, because I like you too." They then proceeded to talk in the tailgate of Jen's car until Disney security kicked them out at 2am.
After a year of shutdown, cancer treatments, and car accident recovery, Glenn, Jen, and Ed went out to Disneyland for a fun "Harry, Ron, and Hermione" day. Jen had a feeling something was going to happen, but at every opportunity there was no proposal. In front of the castle? Nope. At the wishing well? Nope. On a ride photo? Not-uh. But when they got back to the parking garage, Glenn reached for something in the trunk of the car and then fumbled with it as he said "It was really important to me that we take our next steps where we took our first steps." He got down on one knee amongst the car alarms and asked her "Will you Marry Me?" Jen's response with a super wide smile was "Are you seriously asking me in the parking garage?" After many hugs and kisses where she finally said yes, they took the ring out of the "Once Upon a Dream Box", Glenn pulled out champagne flutes, and they toasted to the future!
