That's my big sister! If you know me, you know I do not play about my sister. She is an amazing woman, mother to my nephew and niece (Chris and Parker), sister, friend, and math/strategic planning guru. She is the absolute strongest woman I know. We've been through so much together and we've truly learned to lean on each other through the ups and the downs of life. There's no way I could say "I DO" without her by my side.

My Parker Pooh! Parker is my 11 year old niece. She is the smartest, sassiest, most self-aware little girl that I have ever known. I am constantly in awe of her independence, brilliant mind, and eagerness to soak up as much knowledge as she can. She loves to read, paint, and bake tasty treats. She was so excited to be there when Uncle G, her adult best friend, proposed and there is no way she was not going to stand next to her mom as her Tee Jen says "I DO."

My college bestie! We met in 2002 during Howard's Pre-Freshman Program for pre-med students, and were attached at the hip throughout our four years at the MECCA. Some people still refer to us as "The Jennifers." Over the years, we've been each other's mentors, confidants, bodyguards, truth tellers, and so much more. She is a passionate neuroscientist, owner and founder of HBCU-ish by NeuroNurture, and an amazing wife and mother to two handsome little boys, Jackson and Jones. I was Maid of Honor at her wedding in 2009, and I am so blessed to have her by my side as I start my journey with Gary.

Naseya and I met in grad school at Emory. We spent a huge chunk of our 20s together in Atlanta and had an absolute ball. She was one of my first friends to meet Gary and has been a champion for us ever since. I've learned so much from her - everything from networking to what it means to be a follower of Christ to the importance of freefalling into your dreams. She is a fellow public health professional, a social butterfly, a creative, and a businesswoman. She is my most recently married friend (she married her divine mate, Justin, in 2019), and I'm so thankful that she agreed to stand with us on our special day.
