Julie is Jen's sister. They share a love of travel, reading, and quiet. While most of their time together these days revolves around small people activities, they like to enjoy a beverage together at the end of the day, or even a weekend away at a cabin in the woods with no kids, just books and friends :) Julie lives in Chicago with her husband David and their 3 beautiful girls, Bella, Lilly, and Adelina.

Bridesmaid
Tiffany and Jen met through Julie. They had both just moved to Syracuse and Julie said to both of them Hey my sister/friend just moved there, you should hang out. They met in blind date fashion at Empire Brewing, bonded over Harry Potter and beer, and the rest is history. They need to take a girls trip at least once a year, preferably including a passport stamp. Tiffany still (sadly) lives in Syracuse with her husband Cortland and their son Olivander.
Cassandra Wolanin
Bridesmaid
Cassie and Jen met at their first nursing job, Willy B's 8 South Oncology. Despite their different backgrounds (Cassie is a Spartan, Jen a Wolverine), they became fast friends. Cassie, her husband Mike, and their kids Jackson and Grace, live on the opposite side of the country in Eugene, Oregon, which Jen thinks is way too far away for her liking. Despite the distance, Jen and Cassie have remained besties, with many short/long/emotion-filled phone calls, and when they are able to get together, they pick up as if no time has passed.

Junior Bridesmaid
Bella is Jen's Goddaughter and oldest niece. She is an amazing big sister and a very busy 6th grader who loves performing, dance, acro, volleyball, basketball, science, and even field hockey.
Rev. Nate Hartke
Officiant
Nate has held many roles in Jen's life: camp counselor, teacher, pastor, and friend. Jen, Nate, and his wife Laura all reconnected during a job in California, and Jen became an honorary family member. When they moved to Buffalo, Jen was able to stop by on her way to and from many of her travel nurse jobs. Nate serves as head pastor at St. John Lutheran Church in Orchard Park, NY.
Aaron Schoeff
Best Man
Aaron and Darron met when Darron started working in the kitchen where Aaron was a manager in the restaurant. They quickly developed a deep camaraderie through their love of food, mutual overuse of movie quotes, and penchant for communicating with a healthy dose of sarcasm. Though their careers have led them down different paths, they have remained close and enjoy getting together to share food and a good board game whnever they can.

Jay and Darron met working at Lena. It was terrible but Jay had the downstairs kitchen bumping so they started talking about mutual interest in music and then Darron found Jay’s black power ring while cleaning the walk-in and Jay pledged his fealty from that point henceforth
Hazel Basil
Good Girl of Gilder
Hazel first met Darron while teaching with her mom at the high school where Darron was the chef for the culinary arts program. They bonded over a shared love of long walks, cuddles, and tasty treats. Hazel could never contain her excitement to see Darron, often tackling him to the floor (lovingly) when she did. When Hazel met Jen, it was love at first sight. She immediately needed snuggles and attention from her too. Jen and Darron are two of Hazel's favorite people, and she's so excited to help them celebrate their big day!
