Do we have to stay at the hotels listed?

Answer

You can stay wherever you’d like! We have a special code for The Historic Inns of Savannah to include the following hotels, The Marshall House, Kehoe House, and East Bay Inn. Feel free to also utilize local AirBnb or other rental options.

Will we be able to explore Savannah on our own?

Answer

Yes! And it’s encouraged! There is a ton to see and do in Savannah. You can visit the Things to Do page for some of our favorite recommendations.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We’d appreciate it if you could RSVP as soon as possible. But the latest date is July 26, 2021.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm. Please arrive between 4:00 and 4:15 to ensure we get the celebration started on time.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to COVID-19, we are adhering to local social distancing guidelines and Cody & Jen have received the COVID-19 vaccinations. With that being said, we’ve decided to limit the guest list to attendees ages 15+. Know that we’d love to celebrate with everyone, but want to make sure we keep you (our loved ones) safe.

What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail attire is preferred, but also keep in mind the heat in Savannah (even in September). The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be on a covered patio. The Mackey House does have fans and A/C around the space to help keep cool. There will be areas of grass and pebble/cobblestone, so keep that in mind with your footwear! :)

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

The main events for the weekend are the Wedding, Reception, and Send Off Brunch. There will also be a bridal shower hosted by Dawn and Cass to celebrate the blushing bride!
