Is there a welcome party?

Yes! We hope you will join us on Friday, September 18, at 7:00 p.m., at Sunsets Creekside Bar. When completing your formal RSVP, please indicate whether you plan to attend so we can get an accurate headcount.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m. Please plan to arrive by 4:30 p.m. so you have time to find your seat.

Our wedding is for adults only. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy a fun evening celebrating with us.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional. Our events will take place outdoors, and September in Charleston can still be warm, so dress accordingly. We know it's near the beach, but please, no flip-flops.

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 15, 2026, so we can finalize plans with our vendors. If you were invited with a guest, you can locate and add their name when completing your RSVP.

What is the best way to get to The Gadsden House?

Answer

Uber, Lyft, or another rideshare is your best bet for a stress-free arrival. Driving can be tricky due to limited street parking. If you do drive, enter 33 Alexander Street into your GPS. Alexander Street is one-way from Calhoun Street; turn left into the metered lot just past the small brick church. You’ll see Saffron Cafe on the left and the main entrance to The Gadsden House on the right. Metered parking and a few private spaces are available.
